Where to stay
We’ve reserved blocks at three hotels in the Fulton Market/West Loop neighborhood — a convenient 10-minute drive from our wedding venue. Fulton Market is a former warehouse and meat-packing district now best known as the home of some of the best restaurants in Chicago.
All hotel blocks are available for Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8, 2024. If you would like to book additional dates or just one night, you can contact the hotels directly or revise within the booking links.
If you’d prefer to find accommodations elsewhere, we’ve also provided recommendations for finding the best places to reserve Airbnbs, Vrbos, or hotels elsewhere in the city.
Please note, June is one of the best times to be in Chicago. There will be many weddings, events, and other visitors to the city during our wedding weekend. We expect hotel rooms to fill quickly, so we recommend booking a hotel or other rental as soon as you are able.
The Emily Hotel
The Emily is a boutique hotel in the center of the action of the Fulton Market District and features a coffee bar, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar. This is where we’ll be staying!
Rooms and rates: Standard King - $359/night + taxes & fees; Deluxe Double - $379 + taxes & fees
Parking: Valet - $73/night with in/out privileges
Check-in: 3pm; Check-out: 11am
Distance to other notable spots: 3-minute walk to Time Out Market, where we’ll be for welcome drinks Friday night.
Stays include free wi-fi and access to their 24-hour fitness center.

Hyatt house west loop-fulton market
The Hyatt House in Fulton Market is located in the heart of the neighborhood and is just a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the Emily Hotel (where we’ll be staying.)
Rooms and rates: Den King - $299/night + taxes & fees, Den Double Queen - $309/night + taxes & fees
Parking: Limited on-site garage - $50/night with in/out privileges
Check-in: 3pm; Check-out: 11am
Distance to other notable spots: 12-minute walk to both Time Out Market.

crowne plaza chicago west loop
Crowne Plaza is situated near Greektown and is the nearest of our hotels to the highway as you enter the city, making it a convenient option for those driving into Chicago.
It’s a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the Emily Hotel (where we’ll be staying.)
Room rate: King or Double Queen - $269/night + taxes & fees
Parking: Limited on-site - $54/night (oversized vehicles may be required to pay more)
Check-in: 3pm; Check-out: Noon
Distance to other notable spots: 14-minute walk to Time Out Market.

In addition to the hotels we’ve reserved blocks with, here are a couple other hotels that are in a convenient proximity to our wedding venue (all 10-20 minutes by car depending on traffic) and within neighborhoods we enjoy:
The Robey - This is a boutique hotel in an Art Deco building located directly in the heart of the bustling Wicker Park neighborhood. It features a rooftop bar and pool and close proximity to shopping, bars, restaurants, and the Blue Line El train. Limited valet parking is available on site. Learn more here.
Hyatt Place Chicago/Wicker Park - This Hyatt Place location is on the eastern edge of the Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood near the highway. There is a parking lot on site at the hotel. Learn more here.
Longman & Eagle - One of our favorite neighborhood spots — a tavern/restaurant/bar, also has six rooms upstairs for overnight stays. Located in a residential neighborhood with street parking. And of course, there are numerous hotels to choose from in the downtown area if you’d like to be closer to primary tourist attractions like the Chicago River, Millennium Park, The Art Institute of Chicago, and more. Our favorite downtown hotel is:
Pendry Chicago - This hotel is in Katie’s favorite building in the city, an Art Deco masterpiece designed to look like a champagne bottle: the Carbide & Carbon building. Located on Michigan Avenue steps away from the river, it features an on-site French brasserie, a café, and a classic hotel bar. Depending on traffic, it is 15-30 minutes from our wedding venue by car. Learn more here.

While the reserved hotels are located in the Fulton Market/West Loop area, please note that this is primarily a commercial district and home rentals in this area may be limited and more expensive.
