  • We've reserved blocks at three hotels near our venue for both Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8. You can learn more about each option and book a room here.

    If you'd prefer to find your own accommodation, Chicago has many hotel options and home rentals on Airbnb or Vrbo. We recommend staying in the West Loop/Fulton Market area to be closest to the wedding and other weekend events, but residential neighborhoods like Logan Square (where we live!), Humboldt Park, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, and West Town are great places to look for home rentals.

  • You never know what to expect from Chicago weather in the spring/early summer. With this in mind, we've planned for all of our wedding festivities to be held inside the lovely, historic Wildman Boiler & Tank building. We're hoping for warm sunny weather, but in the event of cold or rain, there will be a free coat check to store away any jackets and umbrellas.

  • We'd love for our guests to come dressed in semi-formal or cocktail attire. That means dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a floor-length evening gown or tuxedo. For example, suits and tea-length or midi dresses in any color are perfect. Wear what you feel classy but comfortable in. But of course, we can't wait to see you there no matter what you're wearing!

  • We love your children, but aside from our nephews and niece who will play a part in our wedding ceremony, we’ve chosen to host an adults only event. Thank you for understanding. Please let us know if you have any questions.

  • If you are staying at one of our wedding hotels, here are the details for the shuttles:

    Hyatt House - shuttle will pick up at 4:15

    Crowne Plaza - shuttle will pick up at 4:30

    Emily Hotel - shuttle will pick up at 4:30

    Please plan to arrive early in the lobby for your shuttle, as the shuttles will not wait and will leave on time with whoever is there. However, if you miss the shuttle, don’t panic! It will be easy to call an Uber to get you to the venue on time if needed.

    To return from the venue, there will be a shuttle starting around 9:00 making a loop back to all three hotels as needed.

    If you're staying outside of the shuttle's route, Uber, Lyft, and Curb (taxi hailing app) are great options to schedule a car to get you to Wildman BT, 3020 W Carroll Ave, on time.

    If you have any questions about how much time you need to get to the venue from wherever you're staying, please let us know. We’re more than happy to help!

  • There will be free valet parking at the venue. However, if you plan to be drinking, please choose to take the shuttle or Uber or taxi to the venue instead, as you will not be able to leave your vehicle overnight.

  • Both the wedding ceremony and the reception will be held in the same place: Wildman Boiler & Tank. Arrive by 5pm for the ceremony, settle in, and celebrate with us!

  • Dinner will be served family style, but when you RSVP for the wedding, you can let us know if you need a vegetarian entrée.

  • Have you met us? Yes!

  • The official end time of the reception is midnight, but if we want to keep the party going, there are plenty of places to go in the Fulton Market neighborhood.

  • Yes! You can browse our gift registry here.

  • Yes! For anyone who will already be in town and wants to get the celebration started early, we’ve reserved space at Time Out Market on Friday night for a casual get-together. Your first drink is on us!

    We also recommend Good Ambler Sunday morning for anyone who would like to stop in, grab a quick breakfast, and maybe catch us to say goodbye before heading back home.

  • It's very important to us that our wedding is a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests. Please take a Covid test prior to the event if you have any symptoms or it's possible you have been exposed to the virus. If you test positive, or even if you're sick with something that's not Covid, please stay home. We'll understand.
